In the course of urban modernism, the accessibility, functional and spatial hierarchies in the organization of the neighborhood have been disturbed, so that sometimes the distance between the house and the city is reduced to a short opening of a door.
The neighborhood garden is a project that tries to conceptually restore the neighborhood and neighborhood-centered life in order to create organized connections with the surrounding context to resolve the existing discontinuity of the plot (abandoned empty space) and a legible connection between spatial and functional elements. And permeability, by maintaining the privacy of residential spaces, moves the flow of life in the whole complex, and this unity revives the sense of belonging in the complex. Emphasizing the hierarchy of accesses on the site with emphasis on pedestrian-oriented movement and creating collective and social spaces in regional, neighborhood, public, semi-private and private scales for the residents of the complex has been the most important design approach. Finally, by rereading the memory of the old neighborhoods of Tehran that were formed among the gardens and by creating a “passage garden” to preserve the historical memory of the four Iranian gardens as a green street and develop green spaces for neighboring units (creating courtyards on floors) in the wish The creation of a green neighborhood pattern is called “neighborhood garden”.
